Science Agora, held at Tokyo Academic Park (Miraikan and two other institutions) in November every year, is the largest science communication event in Japan. Agora is the Greek word for “plaza” or “square”. The title Science Agora is used to express the basic concept of a large number of people gathering in one place to talk about science. It has started since 2006. The Science Agora 2010 will much more focus on the government’s science and technology policy, Promotion of Public Governance of S&T Policy. |
